When I was growing up (I'm 42), the grownups were all annoyed at people in my generation because we all wanted to be musicians or athletes and make the big bucks. Now the younger generations want to be influencers. It's all the same thing. Doesn't matter if you are an influencer, a rock star, a basketball player... you name it... the bar for actually becoming "financially successful" is extremely high and requires a ton of hard work and talent.
The failures of the economy (also another thing... this isn't new... the US economy basically had a 30 - 40 year golden era from WWII to the 70's/80's) to provide more recent generations opportunity to succeed doesn't mean that these kinds of jobs are a realistic solution.
