Timely. Tried selling something on FB Marketplace this week for the first time, a bass guitar. First response I got was a picture of a bunch of random gun accessories with an offer to trade them for the guitar (my post said nothing about being open to trades). Second response was someone who took the time to negotiate a price, knew where I lived (same area that the FB group I posted to was for) and after all was said and done… said… “oh, that’s too far for me to drive”. Then why go through this?

That said, I’ve had all of these issues with Craigslist ads, yard sales, and other similar ways to buy and sell stuff, so I think it’s a people problem not a tech problem.
