This is like 100% of my laundry list of why Mac OS irritates me. It's a good OS but basic "quality of life" stuff is terrible. No window snapping, how resolution and font size is handled, the dependence not just on keyboard shortcuts... but BIZARRE keyboard shortcuts ("Enter" in Finder renames, screenshot... well... whatever screenshot is I could never remember it..., etc.). It's all the feeling of an OS without mindful thought or design put into it.
