The developers who need to "grind" on LeetCode are the same developers who get replaced by AI, because they don't know how to solve fresh, new problems, all they can do is dig up the known solutions to problems with them, or ram their heads against a problem trying every permutation of code until something kind of solves the happy path. Easily identified by the trail of checkins with seemingly random code changes, and square miles of commented-out code, and files and functions with stuff like "_test" and "_old" and "-original" appended.
