That's true, unless you are talking about a large monitor. Try using a single 43" 4K TV as a monitor (I've been using a 40" 4K TV for 5 years now... more than good enough for anything other than high end graphics work) and it's much more versatile and functional than multiple smaller screens, never mind a single small screen.
