Really good article here! Appreciate the points about "I don't like it" and being polite. There's tons of code I see that I don't like, and it isn't worth 10 seconds to even mention it, it works, it isn't horrible to maintain, why would I tell someone to re-do it (and hurt their morale along the way?), make all the testing be re-done... over something small? Maybe I'll mention in passing, "I see you used this pattern, I prefer this one for reasons A, B, C, but the way you did it has merits too" and that's really it.
