Like... a massive amount of these complaints are, "I am using an undocked laptop as my primary work device" and then you are upset over the productivity loss from... how hard it is to exit vim? If you are properly docked, the lack of USB A ports (which you would want for a phone headset, webcam, and a few other peripherals) isn't a big deal either. If you are doing any kind of real productivity work, that laptop should be connected to a large screen, a proper keyboard, and a good pointing device. As a programmer, if you truly care about productivity, very little of your work will use the laptop's screen, keyboard, or trackpad/pointer.
I'm not even a Mac fan, last one I bought was in 2012. But if someone wrote this list of complaints about a Dell or Lenovo or whatever, I'd say the same thing to them.
