I think there's some chicken/egg issues here. The number of folks who are flaking out and not doing their jobs isn't really any higher than it is with in-office work. But people see it happening, and say "oh, it's because of WFH"... never mind that in the office they would be doing the same thing... just differently. Instead of playing video games all day they were hanging around the cafeteria and having a ton of coffee breaks and playing Minesweeper and positioning their desks so no one could walk up behind them.
