I have *often* thought about the need for different ways to access/view information, and the hold up for me, is that nothing seems to be more efficient that keyboard + mouse/trackball (I switched from a mouse to a trackball about a year ago, it’s a total mess on a 4K monitor, it requires more precision than a trackball mechanism can provide because of the friction between the ball and the chassis… will likely switch back to a mouse). None of them are perfect. The pen tablets are awesome for some things and terrible for general use. Mice are great for general purpose (definitely the best) but stink in some special purpose situations (like anything that isn’t pointing/clicking or basic drag/drop), and are useless in tight quarters like anywhere you use it as a try “laptop”. I wish I had the answers!
