I didn’t answer your question because I am not implementing vehicle repositories… that’s your example not mine. Same could apply to the authorization example (which I thought was a great example, and one my teams face every day) though. You describe the solution in general terms, but without seeing an implementation, I’m stuck trying to envision what that looks like on the ground. Regardless of whether or not I personally understood it, a lot of other people will want the example of how to do it right.

You can do as you want… I just found it disappointing that after hooking me well with a really solid explanation of “this is wrong” I never got a satisfactory “this is right”, and now I’m kind of scratching my head at why you are so resistant to just adding an example, and instead it feels like you are trying to make me feel dumb for not finding your solution intuitively understandable without the example. Even if I understood it perfectly (and really I understand it 80%, 90% no sweat… even though this whole thing lives in a world of development I don’t work in), that wouldn’t mean it’s obvious to everyone.

As someone who spent 7+ years writing for TechRepublic on the topic of software development, with a real deal professional editing team reviewing every word that got published, I can say with a high degree of confidence that adding the example will only make this article better.
