EXACTLY. We went from having the 1 - 2 month crash development program at the end of an 18 month project to having 2 days of crash development at the end of every 2 week sprint. It's miserable. And then we spend 3, 4 days per sprint refining tickets and performing these magic rituals and rites... I mean... "Agile ceremonies"... and all of this other stuff which sounds like the total antithesis of "Agile" or "agility" (case sensitivity intended). It's a MESS.

I was never a monster fan of Waterfall, but I knew I could build a pyramid of a project with it. Whatever we want to call whatever it is that Agile has morphed into... can't deliver bike sheds *or* pyramids. It delivers these malformed mutant things, Salvadore Dali meets MC Escher with Geiger doing the finishing touches and interior decor.

If I started in this industry today, I'd be looking for the exit ASAP.
