All trackpads are horrid, but this seems most horrid. I will never EVER use a laptop undocked from a proper keyboard/mouse/monitor unless it is a moment of extreme duress (I'm traveling). I can't stand trackpads, the garbage keyboards, pointer sticks... ALL OF IT. On my work laptops I disable the trackpad completely and just use a wireless mouse, unless I am in a rare situation where that's not possible (like on an airplane). They can keep their gestures and such, the misery of using a trackpad can't be improved to be better than a mouse with them.
