100% agree. People seem to think that screaming "but what you are talking about isn't really Agile/Scrum!" changes the fact that... well... this is what is called "Agile/Scrum" now, and companies pay big bucks to be taught "Agile/Scrum" and this is what their money buys. If I go to the store and spend $50 on a bottle of fancy French wine, and the store sells me Wild Irish Rose repackaged into a nice bottle with French on the label, that's not my fault, is it? Would someone insult me for saying fancy French wine tastes like Wild Irish Rose?
